People of the North, das sind Kid Millions (Drums) und Bobby Matador (Keyboard, Synth, Vocals) von Oneida. Bereits 2003 als Nebenprojekt von Oneida gestartet, hat es bis 2010 bis zum Release von „Deep Tissue“ gedauert. Nach „Stepp Formations“ gibt es jetzt den Nachfolger „Sub Contra“ auf Thrill Jockey zu hören. Der Sound der beiden reicht von Improvisierter Psychedelica, über dronigen Noise, krautigen Orgel und Synth-Klängen hin zu pulsierenden Keyboard-Sounds.
